Bitting Electric Returns & Refunds
Bitting Electric retains the sole and exclusive right to determine whether or not an item may be exchanged or returned, or if an order may be cancelled. It is because of this fact that we encourage customers to proceed with caution when placing an order, because once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled, exchanged or returned unless Bitting Electric says otherwise.If you are interested in obtaining a product exchange or refund, you must get prior approval from Bitting Electric. To do this, please contact our corporate headquarters at 919-467-9417 or 1-877-576-1386. Bitting Electric will normally consider product returns if it is within 45 days of purchase. If you are interested in obtaining a refund, it can only be for the cost of the product, meaning shipping and handling charges cannot be refunded to you. Any “drop shipped” items (products that are not kept in stock, but instead shipped directly to the customer from the manufacturer or wholesaler) cannot be returned to Bitting Electric.
Once any gas- or diesel-powered items have been gassed or oiled, Bitting Electric cannot accept them as returns. If you have already gassed or oiled your product and it needs to be repaired, it can be taken to an authorized service center, and it may be covered under warranty.
At any time, Bitting Electric can impose a fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee on returned items. If you are returning any “factory shipped” items, they will be subject to a restocking fee of 15%.
